☙ Knights of the Order Lend Their Hands to Koke-no-Sato ❧
“Even the darkest of Orders must mind the moss beneath their boots.”
This past Sunday, Knights of the Order journeyed to Koke-no-Sato, the “Forest of Wisdom” nestled in the hills of Komatsu, Ishikawa. Their mission? Not to slay beasts nor unearth ancient relics—but to tend the quiet life that carpets the world in green.
Amid verdant groves and whispering wind, our members joined local caretakers in moss garden maintenance, a gentle labour that tests patience, reverence, and a keen eye for the subtle.
One might call it a pilgrimage of humility—a reminder that our vigil does not always require blade or banner. Sometimes, to serve is simply to kneel and brush away the detritus, to lift the fallen branch, to make room for the living velvet that binds stone and soil.
✠ Charity Miles: A Record Year in the Making
The Order’s Charity Miles team—a coalition of walkers, runners, and cyclists—continues its valiant campaign to turn every step into service. With each mile, they raise funds for causes across the globe, and 2025 is already on pace to outstrip all prior efforts.
Though our shadows are long, we walk in the light of good purpose.
